You're looking sharp! (Less than 90days!)

 TL/DR:

  1. Dress code: We respectfully ask our guests to please dress as though they are going to an extra fancy restaurant or to church on a religious holiday. 
  2. Colors: We've chosen dark green and black as our color theme. 
  3. Avg temps on Dec 3: highs ~45F - lows ~30F.
  4. RSVPs: be on the lookout for RSVPs in the mail (later in September).

Hi, everybody! 

The dress code for our celebration is 'nice'. Not 'black tie' nice, but 'semi-formal / dressy casual' nice. If you are so inclined to coordinate colors (but definitely not required), our wedding colors will be dark/forest/hunter green and black. The wedding will take place in December, and while it does get cold in Indy, it'll still be pretty early on in the season. There *might* be snow, but the average temperature in Indy for that time of year is somewhere between 45F and 30F. While the ceremony and reception will take place in one location, and will be completely indoors, you'll want to pack a coat. 

Be on the lookout for RSVPs. We'll need those back in time to give an accurate head count to the caterer and to know what to feed you. Diana and I will likely be reaching out to you for your physical snail-mail address. Spoiler alert: you'll have an option between a chicken entrée, pork entrée, or vegetarian entrée. 

We've had a couple of people ask us about a wedding registry. Diana and I are pretty set in our household, so we don't have a laundry list of things we need or want. If you would like to give us a gift, we will sheepishly accept cash gifts toward our honeymoon expenses (but please don't feel obligated to give us a gift). We are planning on making a trip to Japan, sometime in 2024.

 TL/DR: Survey email:  Be on the lookout for a kind of important email! The Thursday before: It's Bobby's birthday!  The rest of the story: Hey, everybody! We want to send out some RSVPs, soon. In order to do that, we'll need some physical addresses. Please be on the lookout for an email . The email will be from "bob@hauntedsock.com". The link goes to a survey. We will ask you (up to) 3 things: Are you coming? Where can we send you RSVPs? When do you plan to be here.  It would REALLY  help us out a bunch, if we can get everyone to respond.  If you don't see it in a couple of days, please be sure to check your spam folder.  Also, the Thursday before our wedding will be Bobby's birthday! Waiting game (less than 43 days away!)

Us, waiting for your responses!   TL/DR:  RSVPs: We are looking forward to your response. ...and now, for the rest of the story: If you were expecting to get an RSVP card in the mail but did not get one , please let us know .  We are looking forward to receiving your RSVP response in the mail. Even if you can't make it, we are grateful that you took the time to consider the invitation and to let us know. We did have a couple of RSVPs get returned, because of bad addresses. If we know your card didn't make it, we'll reach out to you individually and collect your response.   Please reply as soon as you can. We need to know so that we can inform the caterer.  Also, don't forget to let us know who is responding.
